The food was just as lovely as I remember it being 10 years ago! Interesting takes on Japanese classics. Not cheap, but great for a last night treat in hakuba. We had to reserve a table 4 days in advance - just be aware and book ahead

Delicious!!OMG if you come to Hakuba, this is one of the restaurant that you need to make a reservation for 2 days in advance just so you know!The food is fresh and in a good proportion, not so pricey but not cheap also. Menu is in English and the people here can understands you well ... if u can speak Japanese or at least English.But a bit tight, my crew have to squeeze in to a very small room with one table and have to sit on the floor.. not a good seating ! but you will manage to look pass it... because the food was quick and so....GOOD!Wow! Really!!

Outstanding food and service. We tried about 10 items off the menu and every bite was delicious. Highly recommend the fried garlic and the toro (obviously)

Small and cosy Izakaya. I believe it’s a family business that spreads across three generations. Serves food from Yakitori to Sashimi, Sushi. There’s some grilled cheese speciality and fried food too.

Cozy restaurant that fits our group of 7. The tatami sitting space lets you reach your legs down under the table which is more comfortable than cross our legs. The drink serving sizes are very generous. Good food too

Good Japanese cuisine, but at a price. Service slow. General impression was that getting money was main priority: cover charge (Y300 per person) & had to pay deposit (Y1000 pp) to reserve a table.

Only 2 stars because the food tasted alright, not the best tasting. The price and amount of fish speaks for itself. Overpriced. (Fatty Tuna over $9 Australia)

Authentic Japanese food and excellent service in a cozy izakaya atmosphere. The menu is available in English and has a wide variety of options from sushi to yakitori. We had the smoked duck, Japanese beef sushi and the sushi platter. All three were delicious and if we weren’t so full we would have ordered more all the food going out to tables looked so good! We had no problem walking in/getting seats for two but it’s quite small and was completely full when we left, would recommend reservations for larger groups.

Delicious food at good prices. The staff were very friendly and were in traditional clothing which gave a nice atmosphere. I had yam and cheese, mackerel, and chicken thigh and leek skewers as pictured.

The ambience is very cozy. There is a cover charge. The fries and home made bacon are very good. There are only chicken yakitori skewers. The tuna sashimi is excellent. A bit pricey though.

Been here a few times with good food and service. This year the food were so bad. Overpriced with bad service too.

Great food, cosy vibe and great service - however over priced for the portions. I find the 300 yen cover charge a little steep when we are already spending 13000 yen on a meal for 7. There are equal or better options in the valley for half the price.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, good service, great atmosphere, English menu, acceptable price and remember to book the table before you go.Don't miss it, if you are around there!

Good food - especially the beef Sushi! very tender and juicy!Green tea tastes delicious.The service is fast and friendly.Good food and would recommend people to come if you stay around here!
